Bullet for My Valentine

Bullet For My Valentine weet perfect de metal uit de gouden jaren '80 (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, ...) in een modern jasje te passen. Met de release van hun debuut 'The Poison' (2006) en een uitgebreide tournee doorheen Europa en de Verenigde Staten groeide de band uit Wales al snel uit tot een van de grotere bands binnen het metal genre. Op hun nieuwste plaat 'Fever' werd het ijzergehalte in hun muziek nog meer verhoogd. "The idea was to keep it simple, and focus on the steak, not the sizzle.", aldus drummer Michael 'Moose' Thomas. Bullet For My Valentine werd in 2008 en 2009 door Kerrang Magazine uitgeroepen tot beste Britse Metal band. Verwacht catchy refreinen, 'old school' solo's en een perfecte balans tussen intens brullen en subtiel zingen. (Pukkelpop 2011)
